What's going on with Maynard's Groovy Bible Tunes, from day to day...
I'm writing a song to go with God's promise to Abram / Abraham in Genesis 15 and Genesis 22.
Here are some words:
"Can you count the stars in the sky?
Can you count the sand by the sea?
There's so much sand
and so many stars
that's how your offspring will be!"
And Abram believed God
for what he could not see
and God said faith is what you need
to be counted right with me!

There are more words to come - but you'll have to wait a little while. We're trying it out on Sunday at church.
I'm working hard towards a new CD - 14 songs that haven't been on a 'major' CD before (one or two have appeared on the Easter / Christmas compilation CDs) - and every song is either a new recording or a re-mix with better software (& techniques).
As part of this process, "It was dark" (based on Genesis 1, the first creation account) has been remixed. It was one of my better recordings anyway, but I think I've improved it! You can listen on the jukebox - and the new version is in the store.
The new store version is a 320kbps version (or 384kbps if you get the .wma file). What does that mean? It means there's more data per second, so a better sound. I'm working towards all the store downloads being at this rate.
